You get 30 days per year, really you get 2.5 days per month, and are allotted up to 10 days extended leave if you don't have enough built up.

You also can't get more then 60 days before you need to plan to take a leave or else you get what are called use or loose days, that are taken from you if you don't use them.

When deployed you get 2 weeks leave, plus bonus days while traveling, example I went from Iraq to Maine for my leave, but I left my unit, spent 2 days in Kuwait then another day in Germany, then landed in ATL. Then got another flight from ATL to Portland, and non of those days counted against my leave time, I landed in Portland Maine at 830 EST and got another free day, because your 1st day doesn't count on your leave either, in case you actually get home at 10 pm then you don't loose a whole day for 2 hours.

You get 30 days paid leave per year from day 1. It accrues at 2.5 days per month. There are some huge differences between military leave and civilian vacation days. For example, you have to take leave anytime you go out of your "local area", which is defined by your commander. This means that if you go out of town for the weekend, you have to take leave even if you don't miss work. Also, if you take 2 weeks off, you use 14 days of leave even if that period crosses weekends, holidays, etc. In 7 years of service, more then half of the days of leave that I took were for days when I didn't have to work in the first place. If you accrue more then 60 days (in the Air Force, anyway) you have "use or lose" leave, which means that if you don't use it they take it away from you. Commanders look bad when this happens, so every year around August 15th you start hearing about Use or Lose every week. As far as how often you get it, you get it whenever you want, essentially. You have to clear it through your unit, which has minimum manning they have to maintain at home so if too many people are already on leave you're SOL. When you're deployed it's a different matter. For deployments longer then a certain amount, you get some R&R time.

You get 30 days of "leave" time a year, and weekends count as leave days. The way you break that time up is according to your preference. The needs of the Marines are first, so when you put in a "leave" request, it may be denied due to operational commitments. But eventually you will be granted it. Now you can only accumulate 60 days of accrued leave, if you accrue more( say 73), it will be taken down to 60 on Oct, 1st, the beginning of the new fiscal year. So at that point you either use it, or lose it.

How often you get vacation depends entirely in the needs of the Marine Corps. You may get 30 days of leave per year on the books but taking it can be pretty complicated sometimes; especially if you are actively deployed.

leave is accrued at 3.5 days per month. No leave wil be authorized during Boot camp and schools, save the last 2 weeks in December, when they shut down for the holiday.

after that, entirely dependent on how much leave you have on the books and the OPTEMPO of the command. there will be periods where he will not be allowed to take any leave due to operational commitments. Leave is generally limited to 2 weeks at a time.

First, if your husband is out of training, you and him can get base housing. If he is sent into combat, you and any children can remain in government housing. You get 30 days a year of leave. You can accrue up to 60 days without losing any leave.

They tell you when you can have leave it isn't like you can sign up for a week off here, a week off there, they say, "Okay in March there will be a 2-week window where you might be able to have leave time. Take it or leave it." It sucks.

You earn so many days a year and can save them up to 60 days with out losing any. You apply for leave and if not deployed and your command grants your leave you can take leave as often as they can do with out you ( as long as you have the time accrued).

You should talk to your family planning department, I know they have all that information handy for new military families and singles.
