This site seems to have some good resources. Remember that reggae music isn't hawaiian. Its Jamaican. Those guys from UB40 were from like England or something. If you want truly hawaiian music, think steel drums and eukaleles. If you're just going for "island" music, then Bob Marley will definitely do the trick. Also, have you ever heard of Matisyahu? He's a Jewish rabbi that does reggae and his music is really tight. Other reggae artists include Peter Tosh, Ziggy Marley, Marcia Griffiths, just to name a few. Those are going to be easy for your DJ to find. Good luck. Here's a variety of websites with various tropical/island music.

Dont know any reggae but if it is Hawaiian you got to have Tiny Bubbles by Don Ho. Dont forget some dance music like Brick House by the Commodores, The Electric Slide and of course the Chicken Dance

How about some Beach Boys? Cant forget them at a Hawaiian themed wedding. And Elvis! "Cant's help Falling In Love With You" is a classic.

You haven't given him a playlist yet? they usually require that by now. I had to have all mine done by now and i'm getting married on the 30th too.
As for songs. I got no idea. The ones you listed sound good, but there's not really too many hawaiin themed songs out there. Ask the DJ for some suggestions, they'd probably be able to list a bunch off the top of their heads.

Good luck and congrats!

you ned a Jamaican or anoterh type of Islander DJ.. or go to a CD store or ask Caribbean ppl. YOu can actually listen to all the music at borders (bookstore) or go on yahoo music and on gendre look into reggae., I don't dare to gie you any titiles because I thin k that type of music depens a lot on the taste of the person...... you can try to look for Shaggy and Beres Sammond, these are a bit more commercial artist and some of their songs can be acceptable for yuor wedding, I guess.

"Throw your arms around me" was covered by Ben Harper and is really a beautiful song.

I found this site http://www.reegaemusic.com/ have a look through and see if you can find some songs that you like. Also, dont forget Ska music, that has its roots in Raggae and might fit well into your theme. Try groups like Madness and English Beat, they have some awesome music.

Best of luck!
