vicsikix: A lot of Christians ignore only the science that doesn't confirm their existing prejudices so I'm not surprised by your comment.

Joshua B: I heard her on the radio but you can always look up Margaret Meade on the internet and see exactly what she has to say.

What is "extreme" heterosexuality? Does it involve skateboards and dopey lingo?
===edit===
I wonder how many homosexuals would agree with this statement by MM?
"While Margaret Mead never identified herself as lesbian, the details of her relationship with Benedict have led others to identify her thus; in her writings she proposed that it is to be expected that individuals' sexual orientation may change throughout their lives."

What is 'extreme heterosexuality', as defined by Margaret Meade? One needs to know what exactly she means before one makes any kind of comment or form an opinion - remember, she is a scientist, so any term she uses will have a precise definition, scientifically, and perhaps not as understood by layman in everyday language.
Anyway, anything 'extreme' is a perversion, generally speaking.

Care to expound on that? You assume we know what it is exactly Margaret Meade said. Also, you don't define "extreme" in your question. I just love it when people are ambiguous in their arguments in order to skew it into their favor.

To be too much of anything will make your judgement clouded and more likely to mess up. Being too devout is usually a sure-fire way to hell as well.

Since they tell me "gay is a choice" I've decided to try to be gay this week! So far, it's not working terribly well. Try as I might, I can't get very worked up over my own gender. Pray for me, will ya?

I am not that worried about labels that oddball folks hand out.
Peace!
