I believe there are many disbelievers who will be saved, and there will be many believers who will be punished. Because there are many disbelievers who can not do otherwise but to disbelieve because of the confusion caused by the many religions.
Believe it or not there are many bad crimes committed by believers of many religions. Maybe even more than those committed by disbelievers. So maybe in the end they will see God, and say I was not sure. others will swear there is not God even if they had a choice, because they know better than anybody. They will also be insulting. That is what shows us that the devil is among us.
We are not understanding that God does not have war against men anymore. But against bad angels. Look at it like the world has been given to the enemy and you are behind enemy lines, so you have to hurry to the embassy.

in the day of judgement the unbelievers will be cast into the lake of fire, which is the second death.
It seems to me that God is merciful to all, calling us all to repentance and a life of obedience to Jesus. To a believer, he has been saved by this calling out of the world, mercy indeed.

No. And and as to Allah, he said he doesn't wish any to be destroyed. Is he powerful enough to have his way, or should we look for a more effective God?. If we are to forgive our enemies, would Allah do any less? Does he pray for us and does he answer his own prayers?. Jesus didn't do anything, but reflect the Father. Doesn't God do a silent prayer? Isn't a want or wish a prayer? Doesn't it say that anything we ask for he will grant? How could He kill anyone if he is too pure to behold evil? Don't we have free choice? Would He punish us for that? I suspect laws of physics punishes us and we punish ourselves. The law of consequences does a nice job niftily.

We are to be witnesses for Christ. I believe he'll show his mercy for a while. But I believe that he gives up on us if we don't change. He is a merciful God thugh. Only the bible can tell you this.

My humble opinion: The father of all creation is quite a bit bigger then us. A lot of people worry about judgment, but it's really a lot more like unconditional love. When you confess your sins and ask for forgiveness, this is a humble act and you become forgiven. It's a wonderful gift and we need to give thanks for it.
Peace
