Every time I post an answer, even if I actually answered the question better than others, I get a thumbs down. I'm trying to answer from a biased point of view (when I'm not being a sarcastic asshole) and then if I say anything like "Well, God might not exist, but he might," I get a thumbs down. Is this because I'm thinking independently? I'm trying to say he/she could exist! That's not questioning, that's just a biased point of view! This is a logical site, isn't bias encouraged? So either you're being a total *** or some people just like to give everything thumbs down for fun. Just, please, get some sense and knock it out.

EDIT: Oops, I meant to say I was being unbiased.

Now you are just setting yourself up for "thumbs down". But yes there are people out there that just go down the answers and give thumbs down. Why? For points sake, because they are "being a total ***", who knows...
I give "thumbs down" on really retarded answers... and by retarded I mean answers that people really tried to answer and are WAAAAY off the mark IMO.
You have been warned. People will now probably give you "thumbs down" just to get under your skin. Toughen up! (Crap, now I wont get Best Answer!)

I agree. For lack of better terminology, many of the Y!A users are, quite frankly, pompous jerks. I don't believe in God. I am an atheist/LaVeyan Satanist; people can give me as many thumbs down for this as they'd like to.
Hmmm. I hope I get at least 10 for this nice little comment. I'll certianly be disappointed if I don't.

there you pass H! they arrive from human beings like Worstans who merely have no concepts! lol so pay no interest. i in my view prefer yahoo could eliminate thumbs down and in easy terms have thumbs up! it can be a far extra useful place. Then human beings could could have a stable verbal arguement as to why they do in comparison to ones answer. it could carry forth extra advantageous debate. interior the interim, that query became very alluring, I regarded at each and each place that persons have been from, and it made it on extra of a private point. never concepts H, on the subject of the thumbs!

Guess that means we can agree to disagree and make our disagreement agreeable by giving a thumbs down. Thank goodness we will not all be in agreement this would be a totally boring site to play on.

Sometimes I can feel the exact same way, but I refuse to give the suck ups answer. Theres are too many sensitive people out there that get offended by the slightest idea that there may not be a God. You're better off knowing that this happens to many of us and eventually you grow a thinker skin to it. Don't let it bother you though. Some people are just weird.

Son, you need to develop a thicker skin. If thumbs down gets your blood boiling, what will you do when something really bad happens?
Please tell me you don't work at the Post Office....

Thumbs-up (pollice recto) or thumbs-down (pollice verso)...
...it makes no difference to me.
Hell,... I wasn't posting in R/S too long before I had my very own "thumbs-down fairy"...:-))
What Y!A should really consider adding, particularly for this category, is an extended middle-finger!
Wouldst that ROCKeth not?!
------------------------------------
P.S. Would somebody please give me a 'thumbs-down'?
... I'm feeling a bit left out here...:-))
P.P.S. Would it help my 'thumbs-down' plea any if I stated that I'm agnostic?
P.P.P.S. ----[...sigh of relief...]--- Thank you!...:-)

Because almost everybody on here is kneejerk. I don't sweat it. I know I'm speaking the truth, and if people thumb me down, it's because they don't get it, and that's fine. Hey, I thumb people down too, and they'd probably say the same thing of me. But I'm not trying to convince or convert anybody here - I'm not even trying to point-game. I couldn't possibly care less whether I get best answer. I'm just putting my side out there because that's what this forum is really about.
And so far two people have thumbed me down for this completely neutral statement....lol. Whatever!
