Do Christians ever worry that we got it wrong? That maybe the child molester from Waco was truly the son of God and we killed him off. How does Jesus have any more claim to be the son of God than Koresh?

How do we know that the first testament came from God?
How do we know the Jesus was resurrected?
How do we know that Jesus healed people?
The only thing we know for sure is that he was probably a great man and is now dead.
Just because it says something in the bible we are suppossed to just believe it?
As a man I would never compare Koresh with Jesus. As the son of God, they are one and the same= false claimees. Until there is proof otherwise we must regard it as such.
And by proof I mean actual proof, not half baked assumptions of intelligent design and notions of how nicely bananas fit into the human mouth

Jesus protected children. He said "If anyone hurts one of these who trusts in me,it would be better for them to tie a stone around their neck and jump into the sea rather than face me".
When Jesus was executed ,He rose from the dead 3 days later and is alive right now,in heaven.
David Koresh is taking a dirt nap.
Jesus' enemies never denied his miracles. They only fought about where the power came from. Koresh had no power at all.Dead Loser.

Jesus was our saviour. David Koresh was a victim of the governments first attempt to seize land from a religious community. The man and his followers may have been crazy, but they didn't deserve to die just because they chose to live apart from society.

The true Jesus is described in the Holy Bible, the Word of God. The Bible tells us about false prophets. That whispering in your ear, about being wrong? That's Satan. That's in the Bible, too.
How does Jesus have more claim? God spoke of Him in the Old Testament, before He came here.
Does that answer your question?

by the fruit of the action, you'll know the tree. What fruit did David Koresh produce?
The same way we determine why real sex with a partner is better than sex alone, or why one restaurant's food is good while another one's is crap, or why one question posed on Yahoo answers is engaging while another is simply trollbait.

your question is the same reason all of koresh's people killed themselves and why he had followers in the first place. they believed in him and he lead them to their graves. that's why i don't go to a book or a building i look inside myself.

David Koresh asked others to die for him, Jesus died for others. Besides, last time I checked David Koresh isn't alive anymore. Jesus, on the other hand...
Well, you get the point of where I'm going. =)

1. Jesus did no harm to anyone.
2. Koresh wore glasses - hehe....
And no, I don't think we made a mistake in knowing that Koresh wasn't Jesus. But we did make a mistake in using tear gas on children and burning them to death.

Koresh, as part of his "religious observances," compelled the men of his flock to surrender their wives for his sexual gratification.
What do you mean "we," non-believer?
