I was born into a christian nation, yet changed beliefs. while most people do accept whatever their parents, families, neighbors, etc. believe, some of us do think and question and search for something that suits us better. and for me, christianity NEVER made sense

I gave up my beliefs in Christianity around the age of 20.
I do not currently have a religious belief because I can not find one that I agree with entirely.
I think there is truth to every religion.
If I would have been born buddhist or muslim, would the same thing have happened? I don't know.
But I do know that the close-mindedness of Southern Baptist made me question everything. After studying other religions, I'm not so sure the others would have had the same effect on me.
Maybe I'll find out, in my next life. :)

I don't know, but since God has a way of finding his own, then I would say yes. You forget that there are Christians in these countries (see below).
Besides, it appears that the majority of the people who live in a "Christian" country don't follow Christianity any more than the Buddhists do, so whatever the dominate religion of the country is apparently has little to do with how many actual devote Christians there are.

This is something I've thought about a lot for which I haven't an answer. There is much in common among most, if not all Deity based religions and I can't say as a Christian that my brothers and sisters in faith are going to be the only ones in Heaven. I do think, regardless of ones faith, they should be true to its principles and teachings. I also think one should immerse ones self in the study of other religions so they might better understand the relationship of each.

That is why Catholics do not believe that all non-Catholics are going to hell.
