Wikipedia defines the anti-Christ as "a person. . .that is the embodiment of evil." Sounds like the shoe fits. . .

Not that you have a political bias or anything.

Wikipedia may have given this definition of the anti-Christ, but it's not the biblical definition.

The biblical definition is this:

"Don't let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God." (II Thessalonians 2:3-4)

And

"Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist--he denies the Father and the Son. " (I John 2:22)

And

"but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (I John 4:3)

And

"Many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist." (II John 1:7)

And

"The beast was given a mouth to utter proud words and blasphemies and to exercise his authority for forty-two months." (Revelation 13:5)

And

"All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast--all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world." (Revelation 13:8)

There are more, but these should do. Since it is obvious that you don't worship Dick Cheney, he must not be the anti-Christ.

I agree! I've been known to casually insert the comment "I really think that Dick Cheney is the best viable living candidate for the anti-Christ" at family dinners. My mom shakes her head (she's used to it) and my grandma gasps. Good times.

Nero was the Beast in Revelation. Applying gematria to his full name results in 666. It is nothing new to say your enemies are the anti-christ. Catholics said Martin Luther was, and he returned the favor by saying the Pope was.

I don't think so. He's just another politician who can get away with shooting somebody. Which if it were one of us we all know where we'd be sitting right now.

Sedition. It's so easy. It's still contemptible.
