Upgrade you graphics Card. Dx10 won't run on Windows XP. The OS doesn't support it. Windows Vista is currently the only Windows OS that does support it.

Even if you were to find a downloadable copy of DX10 it probably wouldn't even install on XP, and if it did would screw up your already hosed up graphics.

Just go to your closest computer hardware seller, Best Buy, Circuit City, Comp USA, and get yourself a decent card. Cost you less than $100 to get something that will do the job your asking.

dx10 is only for Vista. if u dont have a video card then u wont care about dx10 cause there are only a handful of high-end cards that support dx10. no ur game will not correctly with it cause sims 2 is a dx9 game. u would need to get a good video card, not integrated graphics. dx10 will not work on ur system without a new high end card like the nvidia 8800 and Vista. get urself a decent video card.

Only new high end cards can work with DX10 and you need Vista for it.

here's the link:

about the video card you need...it will not work...because some games require a higher type of video card...like the size of aperture... ex: 64mb video card , 128mb video card, 256mb video card, 512mb video card
