Hey, you might be on to something. Condemning others to hell is just one irritation, although I know perfectly well that they will say that atheists are condemning themselves to hell by rejecting God, they're just reminding everyone of thet "fact". Creationism, criticism of science that they don't understand, faulty reasoning, patronizing manners, insulting manners no better than "evil" atheists, a belief that they are humble, while actually embracing the most arrogant belief one could possibly imagine - that they were made in the image of a god who has given mankind dominion over the entire world. This is only the tip of a very big iceberg.

This seems to be a two part question...
To answer the first part I would say its not a matter of believing atheists hate Christians as much as despising what they believe...as someone said "don't hate the Christian, hate the Christianity". As humorous as this seems since it is obviously a play on words that you will hear Christians use, which is "don't hate the sinner, hate the sin", but I think in around about way this statement is more true than anything. I don't believe its the Christians they hate as much as the Christianity.
There is also an obviously a sense of frustration on both sides of the spectrum. Atheists are just as condemning of Christians as Christians are of atheists. Each steadfast in their beliefs, stubborn, believing they are both absolutely right and the other is insane. Make no mistake, atheists lack of belief isn't a lack of emotion. There are plenty of atheists on here who make comments towards Christians that show as much contempt as a Christian who believes an atheists is going to hell.
As far as Christians condemning atheists to hell it is impossible. More like warning them of their impending destiny should they not change their ways. We can't condemn, we don't have the power to, but unfortunately there are Christians who give themselves to their human side and let their emotion take over, saying things they shouldn't and that are clearly un-Christian to say. This isnt justification for their actions by any means. The point is to nor forget that although someone is a Christian they are not above falling prey to basic human emotion. Buttons can be pushed just like with anyone else.
Point is no matter what you believe, we are all human and have the same ability to be pushed to far or to a point where we react in a manner that is uncivil. EVERYONE is guilty of this...this is why Christians believe we need God....not to get away from taking responsibility for our actions, but to help us get to a point were hopefully we will not fall prey to these emotions, which we regret later for having.
Anyway just my $.02 worth.

I DO hate Christians. I suppose that's why I kidnap and roast their children. Obviously I'm angry and bitter because I've rejected Jesus. If only I'd see the light - but no, I'm too busy buying into the satanic atheist conspiracy. I even "believe" in evolution, and that the earth is over 4 billion years old. Pray for me, Joshua B!

I am guessing that the ones that whine and moan about it have a persecution/martyr complex.
Back in the early days of Christianity it was so easy to get next to god. Just go to the forum, and preach the suppression of all there gods and the overthrow of the emperor (who would become a god) and pretty soon you would get thrown to the lions and die the righteous martyr that you were.
No it is so much harder to find someone willing to make you suffer for your religion, but they have to try somehow.
Maybe they should try actually acting out the words of Jesus in the bible. Do that down most Southern Baptist churches and you have a much better chance of being martyred than trying to get a rise out of the atheists.

Well I don't know that all atheist hate me, but every time I ask a Christian question, to fellow believers I get rude atheist on there saying vulgar things. I don't do that to the questions atheist ask, so yea it does sometimes make me believe that atheist just don't like me because I believe in God.

It's not us that condemn them to hell, it's themselves. They have the chance, and the choice to believ in the Truth, but they reject it. That rejection is what condemns them to hell. Am I happy about that? No, quite frankly, if I think on it too much, it saddens me to tears.
And, for the record, I don't believe that atheists hate me. At least, not all of them. I know quite a few, and while we have differing spiritual beliefs, and quite heated discussions, sometimes, we still are friends and love one another.

We don't all. I rather like atheists.
However, the people who take that attitude are like that because they have a martyr complex. They always have to be in some type of a spiritual battle, and the atheists are the most likely antagonists.

I don't know why someone would hate a person they never met.
I never condemned anyone to hell. It's not my place to do so.

They love to play the little innocent victims, even though they're a majority and control half of the world. It's truly nauseating when they start acting all persecuted.
