While driving through West Virigina and Maryland I noticed an abundance of signs requesting that slower traffic stay to the right, also there were many signs stating that trucks over a certain weight were not allowed in the left lane. Though people don't always follow them, it is a nice reminder.

I'd like to have signs like these put up in Ohio, I do a great deal of interstate driving and have had a lot of time to think and evaluate the traffic situation. For as many two lane interstates we have there are far too many rude individuals who clog them up by driving below the speed limit in the left lane. I think the signs would help lower the amount of angry drivers (like me, hehe) who get stuck behind those who aren't considerate enough to move out of the way while not doing the speed limit.

I wasn't aware there were any, thanks. I just haven't seen any (or many) around southern Ohio.

I'm sorry for the idiots you had to encounter. I know it satisfies me to know that other drivers are conscious and aware of others on the road. Too many people get lost in their own little world inside their car and think they are the only ones out there.

We have those in Ohio, just not an abundance of them. "Slow traffic use right lane" And as one of the few who don't care to break any land speed records and prefer not to push my car to its limit, I can attest that staying in the right hand lane doesn't get hot rodders off my tailpipe. It seems to be an affront to everyone to want to cruise at 60-65. I've been flipped off, cursed at, cut off, and driven off the road by SUVs who want a minimum of 80. Taking the back roads doesn't help, either, because there they think they are free of the state troopers and if theyre doing 90, it's too slow.
I stay out of the left lane unless traffic is merging from the right. It still doesn't satisfy the gunners of the world, does it?
