i am 1 stone over weight and i am desperate to lose it quickly but also keep it off in the long term. has any body got any tips for me, i have used slimming pills before and got addicted and ill whilst using the, it took a long time to realise they wernt good for me.i just want to lose weight but still able to have treats now and then.....please help me!!!!

Exercise.
Move around.
Join a gym, then go.
Eat less.
Stop obsessing about your weight. It is pointless.
Food goes in, calories are burned relative to activity and you either gain or lose depending on expenditure.
Less food, more activity = weight loss
More food, less activity = weight gain
It's very simple.
If you choose to eat junk and not burn it off, you will gain fat.
If you choose to eat sensibly, spend your time doing other things and not obsessing about your weight, then exercise, you will lose fat.
Also, it is beyond boring to be the listener to someone's moans about their weight.
Newsflash to ALL the women who have equated their self-esteem with their size. YOU ARE NOT YOUR BODY.
It would be sad if all you were is a pile of flesh. Your actions, intentions, thoughts and how you treat others is who you are.
No one wants to hear women - or men, for that matter, go one about how "fat" they are.
No one cares but you, that is the truth. AND if you meet some guy who insults you about your weight, run in the other direction. This man is a tool.

If you want to keep the weight off then there is no quick way of losing weight. If you eat less and exercise more that is the best way to do it. Also cut down on foods that are high in fat and sugar and start eating more vegetables and fruit. Cut out chocolate crisps chips etc and eat more food that have a high fibre content. Also you don't have to join a gym in order to exercise you could buy exercise DVDs and video's or go walking

Ok, i used to be 13 stone size 16 im now 10 stone and size 10-12

I lost weight by going to the gym for 1 hour three times a week.

I ate properley but i still had a treat every week.

This worked for me, so give it a go and it might work for you chick.

Before i found the best way to diet and loose weight i tried everything, i even resorted to the Atkins diet but that just made me ill.

Youll know when you find the right thing that works best for you!

You can't healthily lose weight really quickly! The best way to do it (and keep it off) is to eat healthily and exercise regularly. Try looking at Gillian McKeith You Are what you eat book's for food ideas, or the food doctor books. They're pretty good.

A great way to lose weight, tone up and keep it off is to lift weights (join a gym for good advice)...many people think lifting weights will make you bulky...but it's not the case. When you build up muscle too your body also burns more fat whilst resting.

And remember...it doesn't matter what you weigh! Muscle weighs more than fat afterall!!!


P.S DON'T WASTE TIME AND MONEY WITH THOSE STUPID SLIMMING PILLS! THEY ARE A LOAD OF TOSH!!!!

american diet pills cant be trusted. i am trying to lose weight too and found a safe diet pill from japan. it really works...it called "Japan 2 Day Diet LingZhi Slimming Formula" you can get it online for cheap. you dont use it for only 2 days but use it until u get to ur desired weight. I have used it for 3wks and lost 10 lbs fast with diet or exercising. try drinking green tea and water instead of soda.

The first step is to acknowledge that the fat comes from eating more than you need. Try to stop eating when you realise you are no longer hungry; your stomach will give you a hard time at first, but then it will get used to it; not eating in between meals is also very important. And when the monster is yawning in your belly, just think you are "shrinking" that very moment. Good luck pretty!

1. Drink only water, no soda/beer, etc 2. eat whole foods, if it's in a can or package it's dead & has been dead for several months. 3. stop eating at the first sign of being full. 4. ONE treat a day, 1 brownie, 1 piece of cake, 3 cookies, etc.
For God's sake no fried food!

eat less, and especially cut down on carbs if you aren't particularly active, drink more water, invest in a trampoline.
I've dropped a jeans size in just over a month.

Exercise.. in moderation though.. Go to a gym.. Ask a instructor what you should do.. Follow it with dedication.. Eat proper foods.. Drink lot of water and juices..
