Excel does not come in Pro versions, Its just Excel. MS office has a Pro version that comes with outlook and publisher, but the Excel is the same as the Excel that comes with the Home version of Office.
The best way to get it is online if price is a big factor, you should even be able to download it. You can also download a program called open office, it is a free version of Office and spreadsheet is really good.

There is no such thing as Excel 2003 Professional. You can buy a single office application such as word or excel from almost any where for just over $100 or you can but OFFICE Professional which costs a lot.

Any where you buy office or excel it is going to be about the same price. If you want it asap goto circuitcity, staples, officemax, etc. If you want to save $2 order it on a site like newegg.com

Why Excel instead of the whole Office? Online sites are bound to be cheaper, but be wary of shipping prices. In-store gets it to you that moment... but you're likely to pay more.
