Im not sure how that works, im trying to eat the healthy and i have a flat stomach, but im really trying to build the muscle...

the abdominals are no different from any other muscle group in terms of recovery time. they need only be exercised only 3x a week especially if you are using weighted abdominal exercises. training them more frequently will not get you a flat stomach any faster if the body fat % is not being simultaneously reduced to decrease abdominal fat stores

you can do abs 6days a week(that is the max.) your body needs atleast one day to recover and adjust to the changes you are making. What kkind of weights are you using? for women , we want to look lean and toned not bulky. one day should be focused on the upperbody and then the next day the lowerbody... than the thrid day you should give your body a day to rest. If you over work your body it can shutdown on you unexpectly or you could injury yourself.Start with light weights and give your body time before moving up to a heavier weight ( maybe 2-3months). Start at a comfortable weight and then move up. Remember to breath and do no more than 4 reps per body part. First do 20, than 15, and finally 12. Donot do them fast...slow and steady(you will feel the burn).
