As a Christian, I've never viewed atheists as "bad people." They are just people who do not believe as I do and I respect their right as I would hope they would respect mine.

I don't view atheists as bad people, not at all, think about it, if Christians truly viewed atheists as bad people would we care about whether or not they went to hell? No. In fact most Christians know that they themselves are bad or were bad and did things they themselves knew was bad even if they really deep down didn't want to do them or knew it was wrong. This heaven/hell choice nipping at your ankles and the religions and such that teach you must be good to go to heaven, this being impossible to obtain for anyone because we are not all good all of the time it is in fact quite impossible, we realize and look for anwers and in those answers there is only one Jesus who died for our sins. It is quite free-ing to know that you don't have to worry all the time are you being good all the time... you have to 1John 1:9 all the time when you think you have been and that is that.
Keep growing in the grace of God and the knowledge that he has done all things for you....

Well I find myself trying to look at ethical even when I don't have to, so yes I would. I do see many atheist as good people. Their belief that there is no higher power doesn't mean they are not good people. Just remember that not all Christians think that your bad.

Because according to their religious history, if you don't believe you go to Hell. I don't personally understand this. Isn't God supposed to be an all loving being? Why would he send you to Hell for not believing if he doesn't make it obvious he exists. As a former member of the Catholic faith, I can tell you it's riddled with corruption and hypocrisy. I hope one day they can lighten up to become more acceptable. (I'm not saying anything bad about Christians, I know some of them are the nicest people I know. I'm just saying they can't keep hating others like this.)

I would act as I always do. And I don't think atheists are bad, I just think they are ignorant of the facts. But then again, so are most believers. I do not dislike atheists. I just disagree with the thought that atheism is the only educated point of view.

I'd try my best to be a good person, As for atheists , I think they can be just as good as anyone else, they are human and they have a brain, they use it well, I love them just like everyone else. I wish that people wouldnt treat them like they are nothing. Accept the fact that they believe what they believe, if you dont agree with it, pray for them, but never stop loving them :D

I think I would act exactly the same. To me acting ethically is respecting creation and others and trying to do the right thing, not following a stringent set of outdated laws.
But I am what a lot of fundies see as a "heathen Christian" anyway.

i wouldn't be able to help it... i don't even enjoying sinning...
Athiests can be good people but they also have no reason to not give into temptation or indulge... they may most likely have a bad habit or something.
Basically they don't care whether they are sinning or not so the "rules" don't really apply when they may matter the most.
