If you look at the vast majority of posts on the R&S board they are “Christians are better than atheists blah blah” and “Atheists are better than Christians, blah blah..” Since they cant grow up, and agree to disagree is anyone else ready to take the bickery “We are 100% right and there is no room for compromise Christians and Atheists out, stick them into a little room together and just let them duke it out? We could sell tickets, call it the ultimate battle for our souls. Anyone else up for it?

Soleil- the facts arent getting them anywhere. There aren’t enough facts to prove anything either way, and neither group seems able to accept that.

"Duke it out" doesnt have to be physical- it could just be verbal which to me is every bit as good. That's all they ever seem to do anyway. As long as we keep the christians away from bomb making chemicals and abortion clinics, I see it as more of a verbal grudge match

They wouldn't fight each other physically anyway. The Christians would be turning the other cheek an acting like Gloria types, and the Atheists would be on their " You Christians are sooo violent", soap box.
I would rather see it as stand up comedy, because it is actually quite funny. All you need is a microphone and a stage.

Facts do.
At the end of the day, there ARE simple, yes-or-no answers to questions like "Does God exist?", "Was Jesus his son?", and "Does faith in Jesus's sacrifice guarantee eternal life in heaven?" There can't NOT be. And unless and until the theists starting presenting those facts for independent verification, all organizaed religions can be safely and totally dismissed as nothing more than wishful thinking and "ad hoc" speculation (that's "something pulled out of your @ss", for those of you in Rio Linda...)
