Is it normal for the pains to remain after having a gull bladder full of stones removed. She was in yesterday and they sent her home and she went back 4 am this morning is it common to still have theese pains even after it is removed

Sometimes a stone will lodge itself in a bile duct. Or she maybe having pain due to gas which became trapped - happens with all surgery. I assume they will do tests to see which/what is causing her pain.

Wife had it done a while back and was on her feet in no time (like a few hours). Sounds like a case of bad luck for your girl. Best wishes.

removing the gall bladder is major abdominal surgery, and yes, pain management can be an issue for several days after.

Unfortunately, it is a significant minority. I have a friend to whom this has happened. It is at least 10% of people who have the operation.

yea it can be bad depending on the infection she could go through a lot of pain

maybe she has an internal infection, it can be very serious.
