Can we come to the conclusion that they have been lying about the progress of the Iraq war. The troops got rid of Hussein-but Bush seemed to be ill prepared in the area of nation building (by the way is something he said he wouldn't do). I really believe they have been lying and hoping things will get better-kinda like kids lying and trying to clean up the house before Mom and Dad get home. Just think if he would have listened to a career soldier-Shinseki-instead of our neo-con chickenhawks-things may have been different.

Except for one thing:

Our government is responsible to more that you or me. It is responsible for a larger vision of what our nation needs and how to protect it. It is a silly view to think that the President is responsible for all of it because we have a three-part government with equal powers. Congress is responsible for this going on. He's just responsible for prosecuting the war, not authorizing it.

If he has lied, Congress has dropped the ball. They have access to the necessary information about whether he has lied or not, and therefore have enough information to impeach. They chose not to. That's why their popularity is at an all-time low. My party made a claim that he lied and should be impeached to get into power. They get there and back off.

People in government, those who actually end up in the seat they seek, often change their tune once they have access to "the rest of the story". Happens to a lot of Presidents. Happens to congressmen and senators.

Sedition doesn't help. Let them do their jobs or run yourself.

So are you saying you're trying to finish typing before your mom peeks in on you?

Surely you can't be this uneducated as an adult.

It could be worse . . . Gore or Kerry could have been elected and then there wouldn't be a building left standing in the US.

Why are Lib-Tards sooooo WEAK?

Well, you can't get yourself out of a hole with a shovel-just deeper in s---t. I dunno if real lying was involved, but I'd agree that the American people were intentionally misled for a more personal agenda.
