1) first serious date at 17
2) yes, there are hundreds of people out there that never had a relationship in high school. They just prefer to wait for the right one and not just fool around as everybody else does. If you are in the situation of not having a date yet, just be calm, wait... There are hundreds of girls/boys. Just be patient. Your future gf/bf will appear when you expect the less. Good luck.

I was 17 and a senior in high school before I started dating. I had a very strict father and most of the boys in school were either bad news or taken by then. I have a great new man in my life now that I am just starting to date...wish us luck!

My first date was at the end of my sophomore year...what's that 14 years old. It was very innocent. He was a couple years older. We dated for 11 years.
I don't know anyone who didn't date in high school.

I met my husband when we were 17. I was a cashier; he was my bagger. We've been married for 5 years and together since then. I am 32.

well, since I didn't marry anyone I went to highschool with, it's a moot point. but the answer to your question is, college is filled with tons of lonely girls who never got the attention they wanted in highschool, but are now more than eager to embrace. with the right amount of alcohol and an acceptance letter to the school of your choice, you'll se what I mean.
