Spectrum analyzers that resolve 1 kiloHertz modulation out of 10 GigaHertz carrier waves, (and higher).

Spectrum analyzers that not only display a signal's frequency versus amplitude, but phase information as well on a 3rd dimension (on a multi-colored display). Or, analyzers that display a signal's frequency, phase, amplitude, AND time, all simultaneously.

Oscilloscopes that sample at several Gigasamples per second, have extremely long memory, but also have single-shot capability to find fast transients.

Communication protocol analyzers to look at signal integrity.

Digital multimeters with 8-digit displays and great accuracy.

Oscillators that are extremely stable and extremely low-noise.
