Catholics, Jews, Muslims.....thousands of years of religious traditions and we're supposed to try and convert someone on one sentence?

I'd say that our faith has an unbroken line of succession all the back to Peter, the first Pope who was ordained by Jesus.

I couldn't validate my beliefs in just one sentence, it would have to be a run-on. We have too many important beliefs to compress them all into concise one sentence.

I think it's more important to convert people by your actions rather than your words. Doing good, helping others, feeding the hungry, donating money to help others.

I don't have to validate my beliefs to anyone.
You can talk all you want but you should show by example. It is much more effective than words!

Today's_Prophet is not a Catholic.

That should be enough to get people to think it might be a good idea.

Jesus loves me more than I could ever imagine possible, His is a transforming love, if you want to have your life transformed and be loved more than you ever imagined possible, join me.

(To Miss Kitty: "Preach the gospel at all times, when necessary use words"-Theresa of Avila)

{why did I get a thumbs down? I am Catholic and I used one sentence??? I even use spellcheck.}

You hit the nail on the head, the word "BELIEFS". It's a leap of faith, a person has to be willing to take.

Most catholics don't try to convert people. They respect what people want and don't shove it down their throats.
