Ok,well,Thursday I'm going to hang out with my boyfriend. Last Thursday I hung out with him and my friend said I was too stiff and I needed to loosen up. I really need some good ways to loosen up around someone you really like, possibly love. I don't want to make an idiot out of myself. I was trying to think why I'm so stiff, because this never happened with any of my other boyfriends and I thought maybe it's because he seems so perfect and I don't want to mess this up. But,I don't know. It's not like he makes me feel like I have to be perfect,I kind of put that upon myself, but anyways,I really need some tips!

You should go do something together that you are really good at and comfortable doing. I don't know what you're into, but lets say you're a great tennis player...... or whatever.... so maybe you should go play a game of tennis because you're naturally comfortable on a tennis court.... see my point?
Do something together in a setting that you are already comfortable in, something that you are confident that you are good at, and it will make it easier for you to relax and not worry so much about everything else!
That's a good start, but don't keep holding in everything you are. He has to know the real you at some point or he will never know if he likes you as much as you like him.....

AND NO...... YOU DON'T NEED A COUPLE OF DRINKS TO DO THIS!!!! JUST BE YOURSELF!

you old enough to drink? i like to have a couple of drinks if i need to loosen up around new people, otherwise choose something you like to do while you spend time with him, like taking a walk in a park, if you feel comfortable you might be more rrelaxed around him. oh and dress in a way you feel comfortable dont dress up for him if it makes you feel stressed

You should try getting used to hanging out with him.Get used to the feeling of holding hands with him or even talking could stress you for trying to be perfect.

It sounds like your not being yourself. Just be you and if things work out than that's great. At least your not being someone your not. If it doesn't work put than his loss and the next guy will be better for you. Good Luck!

No. 1 Rule. Nervous, shy, stiff, clumsy, embarrassed, your words and your actions mean nothing if you are not your-self.

My wife is one of the clumsiest people I know and I couldn't adore her more. So, don't try to fight it and certainly don't worry. Be sure he deserves YOU, you already know you deserve him.

just be yourself

be simple

act as if you're not so into him so he wont brag about it

and enjoy the moments with him. don't waste time on being perfect, instead focus on making the date perfect.

Find something fun to do, like putt putt, or bowling. That should loosen you up.
