Trimet is awesome! It'll take you anywhere! The website is extremely helpful. MAX (The train system), and Tri Met is free in a zone called fairless square. Tri Met (The Bus System)

Go to Pittock Mansion and that'll be one of the second best places to take your photo. The Japenese gardens are awesome too! Now, the Trimet website will give you all the info to get around. I love Portland and I use to ride all the busses all around and it was awesome service!

Multnomah Falls - Just east of town on the Columbia River.
Cannon Beach, Seaside, and Tillamook - On the coast straight west from the city.
