It really would be a good thing for you, whether you are required or not. Teachers are generally able to take more time in the summer school settings and teach you in a more relaxed manner. Math is one of the foundations of learning you need for anything you do in life and you will be happier if you become good enough at it to succeed in other places.

If you don't go to summer school then you'll probably have to repeat that semester during your regular school year. Even though you passed the class for the year, I think you have to pass each semester. If you don't go to summer school then ask your guidance counselor when you go back to school in the fall.
