I was carrying him while hurrying down outside steps when he was two. I stupidly didn't notice the low overhang of wood as I smacked his head. The welt and memory only lasted for a few days.
For him.

Can't remember the worst, although it wouldn't have been that bad. But the funniest is when my daughter was about three years old and I let her get off the Bus first. You see at that time, just pushing slightly on the door handle caused the rear bus doors to open by themselves (outwards). She grabbed both handles at once and went swinging out of the bus in mid air when the doors suddenly opened. Her arms were stretched to the limit once both doors were fully open and her feet were about 2 1/2 feet above the ground. I managed to grab her before she let go. I'll never forget her swinging there on the door handles.

I left the room for a minute, and she rolled over. I heard a thump and she started to cry. she had fallen off the bed. She wasn't hurt or anything, but she was really scared. I have never in my life felt so guilty. I 'll never let anything like that happen again.

I tried as hard as I could not to spoil my daughter. Everyone else in the family including my husband spoiled her. Now she loves everyone in the family more than me. I am afraid I ruined our relationship for good.
