Not all Christians are hypocrites. They can and will have their own beliefs and opinions. Let them. As long as you keep your own. My problem is many try to force their beliefs and opinions on the public.

First of all, it's "hypocritical."
Secondly, don't judge all Christians based on the actions and views of some. I'm not against abortion (well I am personally but not politically), I support gay marriage and I consider myself a free thinker.
Sure some Christians are hypocritical. Some Americans are incredibly stupid, but that doesn't make us all so. Some men are pigs, but there's a few good ones in there. Don't let your stereotypes apply to the whole of a group made up of diverse members, it's closed minded.

Hello and its really NOT fair to say all or even most christians are something even if its hippocritical, now as far as being against somethings or not IF God says SO and we are NOT taking something out of context that should settle it, and IF it does not then the problem is with the one reading Scripture and NOT with the one that tells us what is says, and with ALL due respect it does say Adam and Eve and NOT Adam and Steve, but God in 1 John 1:9 forgives us our sins and ALL have sinned and ALL are Just as loved as are any others, God accepts us from whereever we are but praise God HE does NOT leave us that way, find out more free bible lessons www.amazingfacts.org email me also not messenger wgr88@yahoo.com God bless

I'm a christian and was Baptized six years ago. Before that,I drank, smoked ,and broke just about every commandment there was. We don't mean to be hippocritical,it's just that we see what we used to be and wish that you could see what we are now. We're not perfect, just more content with our life.Sin causes hate, depressionand misery,Jesus gives us a safe place to fall.

Hmmm... let me guess...
Abortion: Killing of the innocent.. taking of a life for no other reason than convenience in most cases...
Gay Marriage: Hmmm.. Sanctifying something that is an abomination in God's eye...
Free Thinking: What Christians are against this?
Christians are not perfect.. we are still human and filled with flaws as are all humans.

The things you mention are against our beliefs. I can like a person, but hate what he is doing. This sounds strange, but it is true. I view being hypocritical as one who says don't do the thing that they themselves do.

It has been my experience that one doesn't have to be a part of any religion to be a hypocrite.
