On white bread no.
On wheat bread yes.
I know, I'm bizzare!
I think a good question too would be what does everyone call the end of the bread. I call it the heel. You call it the butt.
I have heard of some strange ones before....

Save all the butts of the bread, in a ziploc bag in the fridge (so they won't mildew while saving), when you have about 10 -12 slices you can make the best bread pudding or french toast with the butts.

I was told at an early age that it made your hair curl. I've been trying ever since and it hasn't worked yet. I keep trying because I think it's a lovely part of the bread.

Yes, I do eat the 'heel' of the bread. it makes the best grilled cheese. Just make sure the crusty part is on the inside of the sandwich. That way it grills better.

I think your referring to what we call "the heel" of the bread but if you want to eat butt, that's up to you. And yes, I eat the heel.

Not usually. I let my hubby or the dog have it. Nothing wrong with it, but I like soft bread.
