Some people told me it is,and some people told me it isn't since most of the time a crosssdresser doesn't belive he is a woman.

Kinda - but you've gotta put things in it's historical perspective.

Men were also expected to wear tassels on the four corners of their robes. So by our modern standards, the men wore dresses.

Women at the time - wore something like modern pants.

On to the 2nd comment. I've known several crossdressers do do so for different reasons. Some it's a gender thing, some it's the contemporary fashion (women fashions are currently more flashy than men) some are a comfort (culture??) thing - like kilts.

it depends on your religion,talk to a higher up in your religious organisation I would think but in the context of society as a whole-
People should really be able to do whatever they want as long as it doesn't hurt anyone.A Man wearing a dress or what have you is just a bend on traditional man-made gender roles. Throughout the history of the world cultures have embraced crossdressing/transgendered people (Two-Spirits of Native American culture, as well as a sect of Indian culture), so crossdressing may be a sin of traditional american society but if you overlook that there's nothing wrong at all.

No! definitely not. But it can get a bit weird.

Okay, lets see...doesn't really seem to fall into any of the seven sins.....does it hurt anyone in any way........nah, not really.......why would it be?
I don't think it really matters, if one of your friends was gay, lesbian, effeminate, crossdresser,mass murderer(okay poor joke, my apologese)etc, or in any different, then they'd still be your friend, no matter what they're clothing preferences may be, theres probably cultures that FORCE you to dress like a female ( reasons like for the said males of the cultures to respect(?) the other sex and attain understanding)...for the first few yrs of life, and it would most likely be accepted by this society as being normal cultural aspect...so no.....yeah.

No. Cross dressing isn't a sin but sinners cross dress. Women wearing pants and men wearing dresses, or other clothing pertaining to the opposite sex, is an abomination before God despite personal opinions.

There is something amiss with a man who needs to look pretty or a woman who needs to look official. Aside from rebellion, in the latter stages of nations under judgment; cross dressing shows the stress of fear and the inability, of both sexes, to make appropriate responses to reality.

Bottom line: People who cross dress display perversion. When the practice, along with associated perversions, becomes common, it is a major sign of a societies disolution or pending destruction.

My guess is that in any religion it is a sin. I don't care how anyone dresses as long as they are comfortable but the only people I know that wear women's clothes are men that want to be thought of as women. Scottish men wear kilts and they are not thought of as crossdressers.

since God is all-knowing and doesn't create souls that upset him--no. After all, it's not like god didn't know at the time he created the soul(s) they were going to do that....freewill included. So he must not have had a complaint. No complaint means no condemnation.

I wouldn't think so. As long that is all the guy does is dress like a woman. It definately is odd.

Anything that makes you feel good, is good as long as you arent abusing another person or creature. I say go for it. Doing things for you, that make you happy, make you a better & more honest, DTE person.
