Just kidding. :)
I love that formula.
Truly inspired.
In all truth, I think evil is relative and subjective. The source of evil is consciousness. Animals, as far as I can tell, do not think of their actions in terms of good and evil. And a person's ideas of good and evil are based on how they are raised and what they experience and even what they decide for themselves.
So for me the source of all evil is the first thinker of the ideas of good and evil.
Now a more personal perspective, the things that I think are evil find their source in a person, or entity putting themselves and their existence, wants, needs, and whims above all or one, to the degree that you interfere with the existence of another. Looking back that is not too easy to follow, so try this:
Once who kills for money or profit puts their want of money above the other persons desire to live. The money being more valuable than the life in my mind makes the killer evil.
One who cheats on their spouse to hurt them for what ever reason puts causing pain to the other person (or taking away joy) above their own self respect and honor. The cheater is a rather sad form of evil.
Hope that resembles what your looking for.

In my opinion, EVIL is intentional and unrepentant ignorance*, indolence**, gluttony+, bigotry++ and cowardice.#
Thus the source of all evil is Humanity. These are not traits found in other animals, not to the extreme they are found in humans. After all, if a wolf were to sit around being lazy (indolence) he would die and that would be the end of the problem. Only humans believer that they have the right to live, even if they doing nothing to deserve that right. That in and of itself is evil.
As for the devil, the devil is a myth created by people to help explain why evil exists just as god is a myth created to explain why everything (anything) exists. Both these mythical beings are imaginary beings and should have no bearing on the real world. Unfortunately, humanity has not grown up enough to understand this yet. We are still very much like the children being good so that Satan Claus will bring us gifts. It's sad when you really think about it.
I hope this helps.

The source is inside us all, it's just that most of us have morals enough not to act on them, and when the time comes that we think evil we just ignore the feeling to act it out, most evil doers lack the will power to stop it or they just enjoy it, so the next time someone p_ss's you off and you do not act in vengance then you have just rejected evil. I hope this helps you, Good luck.

The source of all evil? There is no source because evil begins and ends in the heart of each individual.
God cannot be tempted with evil, so there is no evil in Him.
Man can be tempted with evil because man has evil in him.
The source is found in you and is lost in you.
Satan, who will tempt you, cannot cause you to do evil, the desire in you is satans tool; and it's your own desire that is evil not his. He just shows you the way. It's your pleasure though.
Evil then is this;
All disobedience to God! Pure and simple, anything that is contrary to God's will is evil.
Thus, when Adam ate the fruit that God commanded him not to eat, Adam allowed evil to enter his mind. Disobedience no matter how insignificant it seems to be, is evil.
And there lies the problem with the worldy way of thinking.
Satan who wanted to disobey and did disobey, now shows all mankind since Adam exactly how special they are and how stupid Gods ways are. We are good 'morally' yet even a piece of fruit that is consumed against the will of God reaps death in the soul.
Good thing we have Jesus huh? He justified mankind, therefore, even the simple refusal of acceptance is similar to the fruit Adam ate. If only the world could see this, and believe.
Evil, is refusing Jesus, it's reversed from Adam. Where Adam had to refuse to eat, now the justice of God is declared, because we wanted to accept the fruit, now God say's accept His Son as you did the fruit. This will bring you life instead of death. He took our weakness in our own inability to refuse the fruit, and in His wisdom, gave us the fruit of Himself and said "Now accept Him"
Isn't God wise? What justice! What truth! Declared from the beginning, and true to the end.

Why does evil exist? This unavoidable and painful question can be adequately responded to only by the entire story of Christian faith, which includes the goodness of creation, the drama of sin, God's Covenants, the sendings of Jesus and the Spirit, and the founding of the Church. It includes the sacraments and the invitation to eternal life (which mysteriously can be rejected by anyone). Every aspect of Christian life is part of the answer to this question of evil.
God did not create a perfect world. In fact, God could have created a better world (St. Thomas Aquinas). God created this world "in a state of journeying." The more perfect exists alongside the less perfect. Nature has both constructive and destructive forces. Physical good will always be mixed with physical evil until creation reaches perfection.
Angels and men can freely choose to go astray. God never causes moral evil, either directly or indirectly. He permits moral evil because he respects man's freedom and knows how to draw good out of evil. "We know that in everything, God works for good for those who love him" (Rom 8:28). "God would never allow any evil if he could not cause good to emerge from it" (St. Augustine).
It takes time to see how God draws good from a moral evil. After being sold into slavery, Joseph told his brothers, "It was not you who sent me here, but God. You meant evil, but God meant it for good" (Gen 45:8, 50:20). God used Jesus' death (the greatest moral evil) for our redemption. Nevertheless, evil never becomes a good.
The saints witness to God drawing good out of evil. "Some rebel against what happens to them but God does nothing without the salvation of man in mind" (St. Catherine of Siena). "Nothing can come but that God wills" (St. Thomas More). "The Lord showed me that all manner of things shall be well" (Julian of Norwich).
Because we have only partial knowledge, many aspects of God's providence are hidden from us.
Peace and blessings!

Well it could be God, because ultimately he is supposed to be the source of everything.
Aternatively there is a Jewish tale that tells of a conversation between God and the Devil:
The Devil is wondering round looking bored and dejected, so God says to him " why don't you go to Earth and do what I intended for you, stir up some trouble amongst the people?
The Devil replies;"Because when I get there they've already started something for themselves!"
Cheers
