I' m researching exclamation words like "Oh, god", which include a word meaning "god."
My questions are:
①Do you say these phrases like “Oh, god” in any situation, especially when you are surprised?
②If you don't mind, would you tell me your religion?

If you say "yes,"
①would you tell me when you say these phrases like "Oh, god"?

if you say "no,"
①would you tell me any reason why you don't say these phrases like "Oh, god"?
②would you tell me any phrase which you usually say instead of these phrases?

Hardly. Well, i'm a Buddhist but there is no problem for me to use "oh god" occasionally. Simply because it doesn't have to be a Christian or Catholics to use that phrase (or does it?), and it is widely used in our multicultural society. I often use "gee" or "my goodness".

I say "oh God" in many situations, surprise, fear, sadness etc. I am Lutheran, and I do not believe I will burn in Hell for it! I really don't believe He works like that. God is said to be forgiving!

I do frequently say it. I try not to because I think it is taking the Lord's name in vain and I think that is wrong. Unfortunately, feeling that it is wrong has not stopped it from slipping out of my mouth quite often. I'm a Christian.

I was brought up not to say it and feel uncomfortable when I here it. Funnily enough, however, the "testese" version "OMG" doesn't worry me so much.

Very rarely.
I'm allegedly Catholic.
Seems to be taking the Lord's name in vain (yeah I know, my username is worse).
Sorry, it'd be censored.
