Of course, he is one of the prophets in islam. Christians and jews may not believe in Mohammed, but we muslims believe in Jesus, Moses and Mohammed as well as other prophets like Noah.
We also belive that one day, Jesus will return to this world, when the end is nigh.

Yes he is an important prophet indeed .. he will come as a savior BUT also to tell those who have believed that he's god that he actually isn't .. So god will send him for a specific and important reason as he sent him as a prophet in the first place so Jesus pbuh .. is a respectful prophet from god just like we respect the other prophets also .. we must believe in him and his miracles and so we do .. we love him also as Christians love him but in the sense that he was a holy man chosen by god and he would not choose only those who are special to do so hope i gave a simple clear answer :)

YES...muslims do believe in Jesus (Isa in the Quran)...along with muhammed, abraham and moses, jesus is one of the most highly revered prophets of God
Muslims just dont believe that he was devine
we believe that his birth was a miracle through imaculate conception to Mary (Mariam in Islam)
we also DO NOT believe that he was crucified, therefore the question of his rising from the dead is moot in Islamic discourse...instead he was raised up BY God before he could be captured...
we also believe he will one day return to battle the Anti Christ, and after defeating him set up a righteous kingdom on earth...

Muslims believe in Jesus and all other prophets. They just don't believe Jesus is the Son of God and that Mary is God's mother or something like that.

Yes He is. Jesus is recognized as one of God's many Messengers and is very important in Islam. He simply is not seen as God's son and certainly not God's equal.

YES! It is because in the Book of Koran THE LORD JESUS CHRIST was mentioned several times with THE HOLY SPIRIT. In Christian belief, THE HOLY SPIRIT is headed by EMMANUEL-THE GOD IN THE SPIRIT. And that THE LORD GOD IS THE LORD JESUS CHRIST in human image. Additionally, in the Book of Hadith, the 2nd book of Islam, Mohammad therein prophesied that THE LORD JESUS CHRIST will come again. This only shows that that man JESUS OF NAZARETH is not an ordinary man but is a man-GOD at the same time. As how could an ordinary man come back from the grave and has the power the teach the whole world Islam-obedience to GOD. But the Islam leaders are blind to this truth as their is a veil that covers the whole world. THANKS GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD. Yes He is. But they miss the whole point of Him being the Savior God. They think they can make it to heaven by deeds. That is why Muhammed does not say in the Qur'an that Jesus was crucified and resurrected. The Bible teaches that Jesus is the way. They think He is a great teacher, but they do not believe He is God.

Yes Prophet Isa(PBUH*) is respected a lot in Islam and we Muslims see him as a Prophet of ALLAH(SWT) and a man. We don't consider him as divine like the Christians do because only ALLAH(SWT) is God and ALLAH(SWT) has no partners or sons. And one shouldn't place man or false idols alongside ALLAH(SWT) in worship. Muslim also recognize that Prophet Isa(PBUH*) is the Messiah and the son of Mariam(may ALLAH be pleased with her and have mercy on her).

yes,we do..although we may not consider him to be the son of god, or anything more than a human being, he was no ordinary person..he is one of the Messengers of God, and one of the total 25 mentioned in the Holy Qur'an..He was a Prophet blessed with many miraculous powers, that he used ofr curing leprosy, blindness etc. Also, he is considerd to be a miracle in that he was born without a father, and that he spoke when he was a mere baby.
