I have heard that some sweeteners can actually cause the body to build or store fat. I have also heard that some can cause cancer. But, where is the truth. Does diet soda really help at all?

Believe it or not, they don't. The amount used in the rats was a gross amount for their size that no human could possibly consume at once. Please read the links in my "source". I'm not sure if you're familiar with snopes.com, but it basically busts or provides proof for just about every rumor you've likely ever heard and then some.

I am 6 months pregnant and avoid everything I can with artificial sweeteners. I have not heard too many good things about them. Before I was big into Splenda but I don't even want to touch that stuff anymore either. Even Splenda becomes toxic within the body according to some research studies. Maybe once in a while is okay but if you need something sweet try switching to fruit and other natural sweeteners, maybe even real sugar is better than the artificial stuff.

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.ezunderstand.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

I have drank diet soda for thirty years, so far no ill effect. It sure helps keep the weight off. Friends who drink regular soda seem to have weight problems.
