I think only those that have read the book should be listened to; probably somewhere close to zero.

It's Sir Salman, or Sir Salman Rushdie, never Sir Rushdie.

This furore proves that Muslims are bonkers - calling for suicide bombers is an extreme response to say the least. Well if there is a suicide bombing we can blame the minister who made the comment.

Perhaps Sir Rushdie does. If any one of us had persecution from a religious body, I would want that front page. There is no excuse for those Muslims who are so fanatical. They obviously don't know a God, and even if they thought they did, they don't trust him either. I figure that's why they have so many that are willing to shed blood-- because they don't have a God to do anything for them, so they have to do it.

And isn't it ironic that their way to do things includes destruction and murder?

If the muslims gave Usama the name of SIR USAMA BIN LADIN then what would be the reaction of Americans. Rushdie is such a bastard and we want British to take the name SIR away from him.

firstly,as being a Muslim Islam Does not teach us to say any bad words about any religious personality, but we have to say the truth by using good words. as concern to Sulaman Rashdi the British Govt have took a very bad decision, they have to realize that it hurts the feelings of Muslims Throughout the world and the image of British Govt in Muslim community effected very badly. so they have to Punish the Sulaman Rahdi and throw him behind the bars instead of giving him the name Sir Sulaman Rashdi. and now as a human being i will agree to throw the Sulaman Rashdi behind the Bars bcz this person hurts the feelings of a big community we Known its as Muslim Community. (May Allah Bless Us With Good Believes)

A Lot many people don't ! But doesn't matter becuase muslims are entitled to their opinion and they can't change it just for the sake that people adore suleman rishdi(the moron), he is an evil person for us and he would remain so forever..now if people don't like this feelings of muslims, even muslims are not bothered..You see !

I am Muslim and I don't care what this man says. Everybody is entitled to think what they wish, even if they are grossly inaccurate or misled.
