It appears that Democrat Harry Reid is using a gambit known as a 'clay pigeon' to slip through legalization for over 12 million illegal immigrants. Why won't our so-called 'representatives' listen to law-abiding American citizens?

By the way: I'm a registered Democrat, and was a Republican for many years.

On this issue neither party is faultless. Remember this was "solved" during the Reagan admin. Here we are, twenty years later, going through it again. I believe it is because neither party funded the enforcement nor prioritized the enforcement of the laws.

harry reid wants a legacy. he could care less what the cost or end result is. this power grab from the razor thin mandate of 06 was never about iraq. it was about restoring power to a liberal extremist regime who wanted to reinstall failed tax and spend policy that dates back to the johson administration. illegals are a whole new source of liberal voting and thats why they concern the pelosi/reid regime. consider the territorial vote grant to non taxpaying us possesions that just "happen" to be liberal. this was challenged in appelate court before and defeated and soon to be challenged again, i think you get my point. its majority rules and they pretty much dont care whos in the majority they create.
