In Hebrew his name is Yeshua. Why not say
"in Yeshua's name amen?"

if the people who wrote the bible knew his new was Yeshua, why didnt they put that instead of Jesus?
better yet, how the hell did they come up with Jesus from Yeshua.

I don't speak Hebrew, so Jesus is widely accepted, we are not saying yeshua is not correct.

Then why don't we just say evrything in hebrew.... if you wanna go ahead and say "yeshua" go ahead..aint nothing wrong with it..lol

The name Jesus is a very short step from the Greek 'Iesus'. Since Christianity is far more Greek than Jewish, it's only appropriate that you call him by his Greek name.

Why not give the whole service in Hebrew? I dont't think he has the problem of different languages like we do :P

Why does it matter what translation of His name we use? I doubt that when we see Him,He is going to smite those who don't speak Hebrew.

The NT is as Greek as it is Aramaic, the latter, which if you may not have noticed ,is a dead lanquage... right up there with Latin.
