because most evidence points to you not being a vet.
Your lack of knowledge on several military issues and incorrect information you present about the military tend to point to the fact you have no real military experience.
If you did serve it would be my guess that it was in the rear with the gear and could not advance very far, and therefore you are bitter about the experience.
But it would not bother me if you were a vet and in an anti-war movement. it is your god given right to be a part of the Anti-war movement.
How ever it does bother me that you present your self as one thing when you obviously have no understanding of the military or how it operates and you use this alleged "Vet" status to try and add validity to faulty and inaccurate information.

I agree with your right to protest whether you served or not. I served for over 20 years to protect that and all your rights. I will defend it vehemently to the death. You also have to understand that we veterans are a band of brothers, we have been to the breach and ate the same sand. So when a brother dissents it has a little sting to it. When you paid a price in a brothers blood, we wonder how can you turn away from what that cost. Still, your well within your rights and it only makes me proud that those rights are still there to exercise. Veterans are not robots of the State and we teach our men to exercise judgment and initiative, to be free thinkers, so this Veteran is not mad at you, just disappointed.

So many people have a supernatural view of members of the military.
One of the negative drawbacks is the general public assumes all military members, past or present, support the government all the time.
People naturally see the military as they saw their GI Joe; always right, supports the government and have a kung-fu grip.
Not to get too aggressive but you served your country more than most, chances are you know more about the situation in Iraq than most people like to admit. So get on your soapbox and protest I won't agree with what your saying but as long as your on that soapbox for America and not against it, I'll be the first in line to defend your right to say it.
If your purpose is to guide America astray, I'll be there to show other people the way

You have the right too, as your not a sheep , you don't need to follow blindly without question. Living in a democracy means you have the right to protest what you see as unjust, for if everyone was silent, the government would have even more of a free hand. People should not protest with being unpatriotic, in fact the anti war protesters are more likely to be patriotic.

Why are you Anti war after being in the military for 6 years? Yes, you earned your freedom of speech but don't you think you should be doing it in a different way? Why not support those that are over in the war now instead of saying what they are doing is wrong? If they thought it was wrong would they still be over there?

They mix in their heads anti war equals not supporting the soldiers. They are the ones with magnets on their car....and that's it. I am not a veteran but I do support 23 soldiers that are in Iraq. I support them, no politics. You are right to try and stop this horrible debacle. I can't go public b/c I worry my soldiers might not understand. Go public make noise

I have no problem with the fact that you're anti-War. The problem is with the inflammatory, low class way you display it.

I don't see a reason to be angry about it, it's your right as an American to be a hypocrite if you so choose.

I'm not mad at you, in fact I'm proud of you! You fought for the right to freedom of speech and you ought to be able to use it since you could not do so for 6 years.
