Fahad is not a Hindi name it is Arabic male name ( فهــد ). It means "Cheetah" in English. The word "cheetah" is derived from the Sanskrit word "chitrakaya" चित्रकायः and Hindi चीता.

I think that the name of fahad is derived from 'fahd' in arabic which means leopard in English, this name is very common in the arab world and it is so in asia and more specifically in india, since there are many words in hindi which were originally taken from the arabic language with only some differences in pronounciation
