hair loss is quite common at this time of the year in india- when the monsoons have begun..basically the hair has a life cycle which has three stages- anagen, catagen, telogen.. that is growth, transitional, death. For many people, the monsoons and the telogen stage coincide...if your hair has just started falling, then you needn't worry...it will stop once the dead hair have been shed. However, if hair loss is a contant problem for you then it could signal an unhealthy scalp or an underlying medical problem.

an unhealthy lifestyle and improper food habits often cause hair fall. you need to ensure that you have a balanced diet- eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, and make sure your intake of vitamins and minerals is sufficient. also drink plenty of water, and try and include some form of physical activity in your routine. Avoid mental stress. try and maintain a relaxed frame of mind. tension, hormonal fluctuations, anxiety, mental pressure all lead to hair loss. a thyroid problem could also cause hair loss.

You must also make sure you oil and shampoo your hair regularly. massage with oil twice a week, and shampoo twice a week , and in between if the hair gets dirty easily.

i don't know if you have heard of an organisation called shene herbals based in india. it is basically a grandmother-granddaughter team that makes homemade natural products. they have a hair oil concentrate that fights all hair related problems- dandruff, hair loss, greying, lice etc. i use it myself, and am very happy. you can take a look at their website http://www.geocities.com/sheneherbals......

The secret is to keep your scalp and hair healthy, and look after your body and mind too!

The basic reason behind hair loss is due to the effect of the hormone, Dihydrotestosterone, DHT in short. Any natural or synthetic products which can block either the synthesis or the action of this chemical can thereby prevent loss of hair. This is the basic requirement from any chemical for treatment of Alopecia. A Chinese herb, Dong Quai in particular has been used since ages to stop the action of DHT. Saw palmetto of the Palm family is also associated with inhibiting the DHT’s effect in the body.

Hi,

The same problem for me too... But it has reduced to a certain amount by the following steps, menioned below.

Shower your hair daily... Use Shampoos and conditioners once a week. Towel your hair after a shower. Never leave it wet. Coz, fungus will multiply very fast if it has a medium. The water in your head acts as a medium. So, remember to dry your hair ASAP after shower. If not, the fungus multiplies itself, which cuases

Avoid junk foods and let your intake contain a good amount of proteins... That should get you and your hair going good...

Cheers...

YOu should really see a doctor cause it depends on what kind of hair falling is happening-if it is like in patches, then it is alopaecia or however you spell it, otherwise it could be the hair products that you use, it also depends on what kind of hair you have. I have curly hair for example and it is coarse, others have it fine and not much hair. in any case go to the dermatologist

I had and it decreased yet that way is purely good for adult males in India. I shaved my head ;-) It began as a results of fact of use of lot of chemical compounds I straightened my hair 4-5 cases then curled em 2 cases (with chemical compounds), many cases made a gasp in front hair via ammonia, used many shampoos/conditioners that grew to become into 3-4 years decrease back now I even have learnt to be organic, i exploit cleansing soap that have not any scent and prepare organic organic oil in my hair.......commonly people won't discover my approach perfect yet i like it. you may attempt in case you like.

If you straighten, curl, or heat your hair to much, that damages your hair, so that might be the problem. Go to a barber shop to see what they can do. If you don't like to get a haircut, well you might become bald, so what do you suggest?
