Last saturday I was out on the town with some girlfriends and got flirting and talking with a guy. But then my friend said she wanted to leave, even though she knew I fancied this guy so we left the pub! Needless to say I was annoyed, Im very shy and unconfident around men anyway, which makes it harder.

at some point you need to do the things you want and not just what your friend wants you cant do everything together. if they were a real good friend they would understand that you wanted to stay and wish you luck maybe they were jealous you were getting all the attention . try going out to the pub on your own for a change

depends why your friend wanted to leave, if she was jealous you#d found a guy and she hadnt, then you should have talked it over, and told her you would have stayed for her sake if the shoe had been on the other foot, if she was bored lonely or fed up you should have taken her feelings more on board, where does your loyalty lie, with your friend or a stranger in the pub?

No, I wouldn't. (Not that I would be flirting with a GUY in the first place, being of the sturdily heterosexual persuasion myself!) but this has happened to me, when friends who were supposed to be out for a social evening suddenly switch intentions and go on 'the pull', and I found it incredibly rude!

How about going up to him and talking to him for a quick second, making sure you mention where you're going next? Or possibly getting his number. If it feels right for you don't be afraid to go up to a guy. We like the chase, but its sexy if a women comes up to you and is like, "Chase me".

Leave, but make sure u get his number or even better, u give him your digits. Stay confident at all times. We like girls that go after their man.

yes i would leave with my friends because they are the people that you can trust and you never know what the man could do.if you stay with the man he could do anything to you coz you would be all alone and you would be drunk. so u done the right thing leaving with your mates because mates who you know come before a man especially when your drunk.

Flirting remains just that....

If the guy was enticed by you as you were by him, he could have asked for your number and call you for a date. Did he? I believe not because he was just flirting which was good for his ego and he hoped you enjoyed it also while it lasted.

Forget about him and move on with your life.

NO . I CAME WITH A FRIEND , I LEAVE WITH THAT PERSON. GO TO THE PUB NEXT TIME, ON YOUR OWN OR WITH A FRIEND , AND MAKE THINGS CLEAR FROM THE WORD GO.

AS FOR THE GUY , YOU COULD HAVE ASKED HIM , IF HE CAME TO THIS BAR OFTEN.
