To date it has been the Greek island of Kos without a doubt. Id live there if i could afford to. Absolutely stunning, the people are so friendly and they have such a good way of life there. I love it. Everyone should go there, but make sure you go around the resort of Kefalos- if you go north it becomes a little bit like Blackpool.
Im going to Vietnam in the next couple of weeks so that might well have changed my mind when i come back and that will be the est place I've travelled.

certainly not Knoxville, Tennessee.
I'd have to say Monticello, Kentucky. It's BFE. Away from traffic. Away from crime. Away from having to be here and do this at this time. Away from everything that is stressful and awful and messed up with this world, with you and the awesome rocky hills and terrain. There's a Wal-Mart, and you can get anything you need from it.
But it doesn't really seem like you're that type of person.
I live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and if you like places to go, there's plenty. The Cala Trava (sp?) is a work of art that IS the art museum here...it opens up like a gigantic bird opening it's wings. We have the domes, which are self-contained areas for (one is butterflies, you walk around and they land on you, etc., the others I don't remember). We have excellent restaurants, any kind of food you want, exquisite caliber. We have a whole section downtown of "Old World" buildings - pretty much unchanged cityscape from the 30's or so, with oil lamps and stuff...
A lot of culture and places to go here, plus standard stuff like the zoo and the MUSEUM museum. I'm just sick of it, I've done it all too many times.

Vietnam does it for me!!! I liked it so much that I have purchased a house here and have decided to stay. Beautiful country, nice people, good food, and no taxes forever. You have to love the cost of living here. you can live like a king on $1000 a month and on a lot less if you have to. Beach club every day party with good friends at night. gotta love it!
