I seriously need one.. This is my dream, if youre interested:

My dead brother, Steve Buscemi, and myself are floating in the ocean in a bright yellow tent. Every once in a while I look through the small hole at the bottom of the tent where the zipper meets the bottom, and doesn't quite fully zip the tent. I see water rushing, going about halfway up the tent. But it doesn't come into the tent. Then my vision switches without warning to alien-type creatures killing innocent people, whom I don't know nor have ever seen. It then switches back to the tent once more, and I peer through that small hole once again. Then once again, my view suddenly switches without warning. It does this two to three times before finally it switches back to the tent, and we drift into a swamp. We unzip the tent, and walk out into the swamp water. But in the swamp water there are small, thin, red tentacle like things in the water. They don't harm us, theyre just there... We finally make it out of the swamp an

It seems as if you're admist or surrounded by a huge emotional issue [the ocean].The tent when you think about it is always a protecter,a safety net,it's an attempt to protect yourself from natural forces and elements.But Natural forces and elements in dreams tend to stand for 'Emotional forces' [ the seas currents mirror our emotional currents]- so in a way you could say you are seeking refuge or protecting yourself from your emotions [the sea that surrounds you].

You have to ask yourself what do I think of the actor Steve Buscemi? you must feel affinity with him as he is your brother in the dream but his dead so there is no alignment with him anymore. You really only see water going about half way up so your not really in any great emotional strife,not in any danger of being emotionally overwhelmed [flooded],water doesnt even enter the tent.

The fact that this tent was yellow is significant - it's a happy colour its bright,so suggestive of sun and light so this doesnt seem to be a negative dream.Maybe you feel protected in a postive way by something,maybe whatever you and steve have in common is your bright refuge in emotional times.

The fact that you only peek through a tiny hole at the water that youre largely "zipped" means that in some way your supressing or not facing larger emotions or at least not speaking about them,you're zipped.

You do get out of the sea that surrounds you, but you end up in a swamp,swamps are stifling and awful places,they are considered useless and unstable - they may symbolise you feeling bogged down or "swamped" by something/stuck.

The red tentacle things in the dream,I don't have a clue -but intuitively I could only think of a health issue [blood vessels] or problems with circulation,the reason for them being in the swamp.Blocked arteries,pressure in the veins.I really have no clue.

Aliens generally appear when something feels unfamilar or 'ailen' to you,this a foreign emotional area of life you're dealing with now,something previously unknown and remote from you.


This whole dream reads like a film or fiction story but even in that frame the symbolism would be the same.

Okay, the ocean represents the world and all the strife, conflicts, chaos, trials, and tribulations in it. You see your brother because he represents family. You Steve Buscemi because he represents someone you may know who is tied to the film industry or acting. But the bright yellow tent represents the Glory of God and His goodness and His divine protection over your life. God is showing you that when times get tough and turbulent ahead, it may come near you, but it will not overtake you nor harm you. When you peak through the holes you saw people dying by the hand of a alien creature which represents a mysterious, unknown plague of sorts. You will witness some bad things, but you yourself will not be harmed. The three times you peaked through the holes represents 3 waves of trouble which you will have to be patient through. The swamp you entered into represents the place of spiritual stagnancy, where there are people who are spiritually dead or who do not want to grow in the Lord. Finally, the red tentacles represents traps set by the devil waiting to pull you down, but God will not allow them to harm you. Okay take care.

Your mind is essentially acting out a fantasy of being in a frightening situation, much like a movie. Notice that, in your dream, you are only threatened to a certain degree, but for the most part remain completely unharmed. Your mind has just felt the desire to scare itself.

Your mind may actually be craving a scary movie, and so invented one, but in any case, your dream is just a fantasy impulse. I highly doubt there is a significant meaning, other than a simple craving for some excitement.

Go see a scary flick. It'll give you a nice jump, and your subconscious will thank you. ;)

I would say that you have alot going on in your life and you feel like you can't get settled and comfortable. All of the "obsticles" are hazzardous in some way, which could mean that you feel that all the things in your life now threaten your long term goals. That somehow your planned destination is getting farther away or harder to acheive.

Um. It can be a fear of stress in your life that seems so confusing, yet its taking over and your brother symbolizes where this confusing stress is comming from.
