I got a lot of feed back on it before about how it looks good the way it is but I keep getting made fun of by my brother and his friends and a few other people. I really need to add to it so it doesn't look like...I'm not even gonna say it because I honestly don't see it at all. Please give me some ideas:]

i think your tattoo is beautiful but if you aren't satisfied with it then go to your artist and see if he has any ideas about making it into something that you'd be happy with. but if you just want to do it because your brother's friends are making fun of it... you likely won't like it afterward, not if you are truly happy with what you have. i wish my first back tattoo had been so beautiful, unfortunately i had to get a few coverups. i did end up with a full back piece and love it but i probably would have done things differently if i had a quality tattoo done in the first place.

good luck.

Well, Justin K has a pretty good answer, but you good also put a poem or some scripture that fades in and out, it would look good I think. Something that means a lot would be good, or for just looks, you could put small vines or something. On the other hand, the vines might ruin the purpose of making it not look like what your brother may have in mind.

You're going to drive yourself nuts if you are always worrying about what others think of any tattoo you have!
Your brother (and come on - consider the age!!!) is making fun of you because he knows it's getting to you. Even if you added to it, he'd still probably make fun of it. I have a 13 year old son. I know exactly the humor level here and it's not like it gets any better the older they get - it only gets worse.
I guarantee you the teasing will not stop no matter what you do to it and you'll only be more upset because you changed your original design because of what your brother and his friends are saying.
Where a t-shirt when you are around them and ignore any comments. It won't be any fun to hassle you at that point.

That tattoo is awesome.
Your brother is still young and immature ;)
You know boys take forever to grow up. haha

If you were to get anything (and I'd only suggest getting something you WANT - not just getting something to tell your brother to stfu), I'd get some script running right above the heart and right along side the two sides of the heart - like, right outside of the borders.

Script in English or another language you like.
But make sure it's script that means something to you.

I think that script can be so pretty, especially when it has meaning.

add more shading from the bottom fading up about 3 inches. add more shading from the top right fading down the right side. add a little shading fairly dark on the left behind the overlap. add some backgound shading on the right side to offset it from your back more
-stick wth the black work, the basic goal would be to further round out the heart, it's a little flat right now and the image does stick in your mind when someone mentions it.

How old is your brother??? I mean I would never ever do a tatoo but I think that is very pretty. Some times people just like to harass you others are jealous.

Could you just cover it up? Start over? I think it's pretty but still a little strange. There are lots of things you could cover that up with. I'd talk with an artist - a good one.

Don't put permanent things on your body because someone pressures you to do so. They're obviously just dickheads. If you like it, leave it alone.

"...because I honestly don't see it at all."

So why would you change it?
