I truly believe that as you mature your perspective changes..
Its not that older people are less picky but they usually know what they want by then and just go for it!!
Don't forget that looks fade but a loving heart never will..

Yes I think so.
I guess that's because sometimes getting older might mean that the person's chances of finding other single suitable ppl are less, so sometimes they choose to be less picky about looks, to maximize the chances.

Less a matter of age and more a matter of experience I'd say. I've noticed that, as I've gotten older, I've had "hot" gf and "plain" gf and I was generally happier with the so called "plain" gf because they actually gave a damn instead of being self centered/concieted(not applying that to all "hot" girls but, unfortunately, the majority of them). I care more about emotional involvement and honesty than appearance these days. Just my opinion.

I am not that sure about that since I was not picking friends based on looks when I was small, and certainly not now that I am grown up. I think as people grow older, they realise that looks matter only if you want to be superficial. I have many friends who are pretty, plain and not so pretty. It is what in their hearts that matter, really.

Well, yeah.
One exception may be archeologist or musuem curators. It's because they're so passionate about old stuff, they'll appreciate their wives or husbands when they're older.
But, To me, Ability to communicate and understand each other makes looks secondary. Makes looks nothing too.
Attitude and intellect is more attractive than looks.

I honestly don't feel the older you get, that looks don't matter anymore-I feel that people become more mature, and other things in a person's life become more important. Such as personality, consideration, and thoughtfulness.

i dont think age has got anything to do with it.. its all abt the individual.. if you've always placed much importance to looks, i guess it would somehow 'stay'...
