WHO SAID HE DID NOT KNOW? AND WHO SAID HE HAD HIS DARK SIDE BY NOT BEING ABLE TO KEEP IT HIDDEN. OBVIOUSLY, YOUR STATEMENT SUCH AS DAMNATION ONLY PROVES YOUR IGNORANCE ABOUT THE TRUE LIVING AND LOVING GOD... BY THE WAY WHICH GOD ARE YOU REFERRING TO ANYWAY?

Hello gar69asusa
Your questions are great!
Foreknowledge or Foreordaining?
Before we discuss whether God knows your future or not, we need to discuss the difference between foreknowledge and foreordaining. Foreknowledge is the ability to know beforehand what will happen in the future. To foreordain or predestinate an event means to choose ahead of time what will happen or cause it to occur. Let me give an example of the difference. Suppose you are standing on a high hill. You look down at a single lane, winding road on the hill and you see two cars on opposite sides of the hill speeding towards each other. With the speed that the cars are traveling you know that the cars will not be able to avoid a collision. It is like having foreknowledge because you can see the entire road so you can see the inevitable, but you do not want the cars to hit each other. You have not set these cars up for the purpose of crashing them together, yet you know that they are seconds away from crashing. You have foreknowledge of the event but you definitely did not foreordain it. This is the way it is with God. Just because he has complete foreknowledge of future events does not mean that he chooses all events to happen.
Scripture is very explicit that God's complete foreknowledge does not mean that God foreordains all things. Take for example Herod's killing all baby boys two years old and younger at the time of the magi's visit to see the young Jesus. In Matthew 2:17 & 18 an old Testament prophecy is quoted where Jehovah God predicts through Jeremiah the death of these baby boys. Jehovah prophesied their deaths, that is foreknowledge, but he is not responsible for their deaths as he did not foreordain or plan their deaths. Herod is the one responsible.

Like you GT, I cannot find it either. i humbly suggest that The Spirit of Christ and The father is ONE and the SAME. I suppose from a human perspective we do indeed promise somethings to ourselves, and yet because God is omniscient, He would hardly have to promise Himself. I think this kind of question, although interesting, is in the same category really of a question we here so often, 'If God created all things, then who created God?' A question which when answered by Christians will never satisfy a sceptical finite mindset. There are things about God, like the question you have posted that genders extreme curiosity, and yet is unanswerable as we do not understand the deep things of God while in this finite condition. We get insight by God's Spirit but not total knowledge, as God's ways are higher than our ways, and beyond finding out. As I was thinking about this interesting question, I began to ask myself, "Does it really matter to me?" The answer I came up with was, "No, not really" To the sceptic who reasons with the human intellect alone, I think it is just another bullet for his six shooter - he is a swinger slinger after all (I know you directed your question at SDAs but nevertheless I thought that since sceptics read these answers, I'd throw that little quip in. I'm not an SDA so I'm trespassing here - sorry!

Yes , He got the dark side and He's not powerful to keep it hidden. Actually He is full of the dark side but make it seems to be on the bright side.Yea and we human being is being subjected to his punishment and his doctrine. We are talking of the God of this world ,right, are we?

I don't agree with rufusredcoat.
God is all knowing. Nothing hidden from Him.
He knew that Eve would eat the forbidden fruit, but He still asked "What have you done?" just to give Eve the chance to come clean and admit that she had just sin.
And the most beautiful thing about all knowing God is He still created us and already had a plan to save all mankind, long before any of us have existence.

Or maybe God wanted to see what would happen when humans were left to there own devices? If He stepped in all the time, what would some of us learn? Who is be brave enough to rebel against those who bring havoc?

He allowed free will. Then we make the choice. His mercy is what prevents Him from immediately preventing us from using our free will in a destructive manner. Then He also allows us ,by our behavior to use our free will to move close to Him or away from Him. We decide the consequences of our behavior To blame God for the consequences of our behavior is as foolish as a skateboarder getting mad at the railing he just fell off. He took his chance and paid the penalty.

It's obvious,
none of the religious answers help you feel secure.
In fact, a couple of religions are butting heads with each other, christianity vs. islam.
They will have you kill people and yourself, but they won't take the active roll, just direct weak people to do their bidding, they don't even know what they worship, it's pure madness.
I would say, a real God, that left behind a potential, would be coming back to a creation with a lot less violence, starvation, egotism, control, etc..........................................................................

It's just part of the evidence AGAINST a god's existence.
Loving nature? If this god represents love, being hated would be far better!
