I bought a "new" car yesterday and found out today that it is not new. It was preowned. It was sold to the first owner at 21miles new. Then sold to me at 1908 miles new. What should I do about this?

A new title is only issued once. But it doesn't matter since you knew it had almost 2000 miles on it.

But either way if you think your were cheated, contact your Better Business Bureau and they can give a the information who to contact in the government (with phone numbers, etc.)

New only means that the car has not been registered or "sold." Demo cars are technically new even though they often have miles on them. It's normal for a new car to have some miles on it. I've never bought a car with less than 10 or 15. It has to get the dealer and move around somehow.

Did you know the car had 1900 miles when you bought it? Or did you bargain for a new car and get one with 1900?

new car means it has little miles, a used car means it has a lot of miles. no matter how many people have owned it. 1908 miles is a new car to me. a car with 140,000 miles is a used car. also check your car-fax report, sound like something fishy is going on on, like they are hiding something.

If you thought a new car was going to have 1908miles, you clearly are not knowledgable about what is considered new. It was new to the first owner. If the car doesn't have problems, I wouldn't worry about it.
