I'd either take it out or go to the place where you got it pierced. Honestly...the key to healing is to leave it alone. Think of a new piercing as a wound or a cut....when it starts to heal the scab (crust) will form...but if you pick the scab (crust) off it'll slow the process and leave you with scar tissue...

No. What that white stuff is, is lymph fluid. That's totally normal. Fresh piercings excrete lymph fluid as a way to wash out the dead skin cells and allow your piercing to continue healing. It even has a name! They're called "crusties."
The slight redness is probably because it's a fresh piercing, but it may also be very slightly irritated. Either way, it's not a concern since you're experiencing no pain.
How much salt are you using on your solution? It should be about 1/4 teaspoon to a cup of water. If you're using more than that, the redness could be from the salt drying out your skin. Try slightly decreasing the amount of salt.
But if you piercing is quite new, it's probably just red because you put a hole in it! No worries.
Signs of true infection are severe and obvious: extreme pain and swelling, hot to the touch, green puss, streaks in the skin, and fever.
The people above have obviously never seen a real infection.

if it's only a week or so old then that's perfectly natural, and part of the healing process - if it was yellow or smelly, then you'd need to worry.
make sure you clean it regularly with salt water / soaks, don't play with it at all as this'll prolongue healing
if you think it's infected (which seems unlikely from what you've said) the worst thing to do would be to take it out. if it's still like that at the beginning of next week, go see a doctor / your piercer, but it should continue fine. some take longer to heal than others, depending on the person

As long as the puss is white and not greenish yellow its fine. If it was infected you would know. It would be painful swollen and all that fun stuff. Its a new piercing-its going to be a little red. Dont worry

Check your temperature. If it is elevated, get in to see a doctor immediately. Infections on your face can spread quickly to your brain.

Go to an urgent care if you can and if you are a minor, tell your parents and get to a doctor.
WHY? It's infected. Also, infections from peircings are netorious for spreading rapidly throughout the body, which can be deadly.
Get to a DOCTOR!

Please don't take any chances! Please make a doctor's appointment. Prolonged infection can be very problematic in the future . . .
The previous comment was right, go to where you got your lip pierced and have the artist give some advice too!
Good luck!
