I eat alot of rice, fried vegetables, canned veggies, potatoes, and fresh meats such as chicken, pork, ground beef and beef everyday, I drink Good Host Ice tea, about 2 large glasses a day, and on the weekend, I drink alot of beer, about 10-12, and then the rest of the weekend, i eat take out food such as MCd;s < Kentucky, chinese and dont do much. I know the only thing to do is excercise and try to eat healthier and smaller portions, anyone ever go through this and have a rough time getting back into shape, I seriously need advice from someone who has struggled with their weigh, Im not just going to go pump iron for an hour or bike up a hill for an hour, Whatr is a good way to start a diet, i no, i just cant quit junk food cold turkey either. can i just replace my sugar drinks with water first and lose 10 pound

i understand what your going through i used to be skinny and toned when i played football and other sports but then i got lazy and gained 30 lbs.!!! in one year because i ate out every single day, but i realized that i seriously needed to get back in shape and i lost over 10lbs in a month just by replacing all those sugary drinks with diet pop instead of regular also minute maid has some drinks labeled light that are really good and good ol water.and ate subway all the time. (jared was right). i also ran at least a mile a day. but seriously stay away from Mcdonalds and all those fast food places because in order to lose weight while eating that stuff you have to run 2hrs or more a day. also you can still eat good food like chicken rice and other meats just keep it in moderation and do plenty of running not only does it burn calories it increases your metabolism start off slow like 15 minutes a day 3-5 times a week and you will see it gets alot easier from there and you will be satisfied with the results. trust me.

My ADVICE is don't worry about your weight. I know that sounds crazy but also consider the fact that like 98% of people who lose weight GAIN IT ALL BACK and usually MORE within a couple years. Almost everyone even the very determined gain SOME BACK which is worse for your heart then if you just stayed HEAVY. Stop worrying about society and what they think IT ISN'T YOU and it's not important. WE HAVE A BODY WEIGHT set-point which is a weight are bodies defend AT A GIVEN AGE in are life and is BIOLOGICAL i.e. very hard or impossible to change. When you go below set-point your body fights back with HUNGER and it can CAUSE BINGE EATING or many other eating disorders like bulimia. Ask yourself is it really worth thinking about food all the time? MY ADVICE exercise is ALWAYS good get as much of it as reasonable and if you lose some weight GREAT. If you don't lose weight don't try and keep yourself from eating using any will power. That means if you want a piece of pizza, but you say no I can't have it I am losing weight now, THAT IS BAD. Eat all you want and exercise as exercise will make you healthier. Remember if you try to cut calories you will be thinking about food all the time. I DO THINK IT IS POSSIBLE to force your weight down, but not without serious psychological problems that CAN HAPPEN.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.

Get started today!

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didnt get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.sexyjese.com - it will blow your mind.

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

Instead of eating fried vegies, steam them. For ovious reasons.
Try and stay away from potatoes (starch & fatty), and instead of Iced tea try green tea. (Iced tea has HEAPS of sugar).
And the beer isn't doing you any good either.
If you still want to eat chinese, DON'T eat anything fried (eg. fried noodles, friend rice, spring rolls ect ect)
And try and eat some whole grains, If you feel like having a sweet snack have a couple of peices of dark chocolate.

HOPE THIS HELPED
