Isn't it kinda silly to believe that the complexities we see around us, particularly in life, that these things had no Creator?

story junkie - I'm simply stating in my question that everything around us is proof of God.

Cmon, this question is not that complicated is it? Some of you are commenting negatively before you even understand it.

Brett - You embrace those ridiculous "leaps of faith" theories about how the complexities in life happened without God? Are you sure?

That's funny, I feel like I answered the question not long ago.

Tell you what - I'll make you a deal. Let's take you apart, and if we find anything in your body that we don't also find in space, we'll admit we were wrong. Tell us - what's that special thing you're made of that couldn't be made out of space dust?

The proof you offer, isn't proof at all.

No, its not silly to believe that the complexities of life are the result of a creator. Rather quite the opposite. It is silly to remain ignorant to the truth, clinging to the age-old "god did it" tale, when the evidence proves otherwise. The failure to understand what science has proven (as opposed to the bible claiming) is not evidence for a creator. It only proves an unwillingness to look beyond one book.

Not at all, complex things are often created by simple things through simple rules. It's called fractal expansion. Think about how a human body grows, basically there is a long molecule containing about 1 gigabyte of data, and this creates billions of cells, and various proteins making up many aspects of the body, such that all the relevant data in a cubic milimeter of tissue couldn't be expressed in the amount of data that built the entire body.

In fact, complexity developing over time makes infinitely more sense to me than complexity suddenly springing into existence or complexity always having been (as is supposed to be the case with God).

Isn't it silly to just assume there is magic without any proof?

POOF! There it is, doesn't work for people who honestly search for answers.

EDIT: No, I understand it. You want people to admit there must have been magic because it is too complex to understand. I say to you we are not at the limits of human understanding and we WILL figure it out without the need of using 'magic' as an explanation.

I don't know anyone who believes " that the proof for a Creator evolved from space dust?"

But then my friends are mostly Atheists and we do not believe in a creator.

Well, if you're completely oblivious to atomic theory, chemistry, physics, biology, astronomy, geology, and never learned a thing in your high school science classes, then sure, the universe can seem pretty implausible.

Why do you suppose ignorant goat herders invented god?

Try reading... you might learn something.

WTF RU Talking About?
"proof for a Creator evolved from space dust" - WTF?
"these things had no Creator" - TRUE. ... Problems? What?

"everything around us is proof of God." ... NO...
Everything around us is proof of known natural processes.

[Edit]: Re YOUR: "You embrace... ridiculous "leaps of faith""
Sorry, what 'leaps' - *I* never mentioned this - Why are you?
Specifics, please, not just "complexities in life"?
"Are you sure?" - Do you know the ToE? ... Occam's Razor?
Yup, those, plus 175 years of *solid* data says... I'm sure.

I haven't seen a proof for a Creator.

I think you have a seriously misguided understanding of evolution. You should read more.

Stating "I don't understand things" is not proof for anything.

I'm not sure I'm understanding your question correctly.
Do you mean that proof evolves?

*edit*
well, it helps to have good sentence structure for clarity. I really did find your question confusing.
