I met a girl at my church, and her great-grandfather was my great-grandfather's brother. What does that make us? Thanks!

Shirley is right, you are third cousins. An easy way to remember is like this:

If your common ancestors are a set of grandparents then you are first cousins
If your common ancestors are a set of great grandparents then you are second cousins
If your common ancestors are a set of great great grandparents then you are third cousins as in your case.

I hope this helps. Blessings.

That means your grandfathers were 1st cousins, your fathers were 2nd cousins and therefore you are 3rd cousins. You come down in the same generation from a common ancestor therefore there are no removes.

I find it easiest to assign false names and draw it. Assume The A's are your mutual great grandparents, Abraham's son is Bruce, etc:

Abraham & Andrew = Brothers (G-GF)
Bruce & Bob = 1st C (Your GFs)
Charles & Carl = 2nd C (Your Parents)
LilDixie & Lulu = 3rd C (You and the girl you met at church)
