Ok, seriously, when was the last time someone really threatened you with hellfire for not believing? The snide assertion that believers aren't smart enough to grasp science aside, have you honestly never heard the gospel presented in anything other than the hellfire version? Honestly, not that many churches in America (maybe 5 in a hundred) still use the hellfire version anymore. Billy Graham preached the Gospel for decades and I don't think he ever used the eternal fires of Hell to strike fear into people's hearts.

For people who say they don't try to convert, there are an awful lot of questions on how to do it. First of all I happen to like science and technology and they are certainly not intimidating. Do you think that because it intimidates you? Second, I don't believe in God because I feel threatened. I believe in God because of the love He has for me. God is real and I feel His love and presence all the time, that is why I know He exists.

Show them the whole point of science is finding the truth. When I was 5, a Christian man told me to never believe science. It's a good thing I never took that advice.

I am a Christian- and did very well in science in school- it is not intimidating to me- my question back to you will be this- why is Christianity so intimidating to you? Could it be that you really know God exists however you don't want to face the fact you need a Savior?

I don't get all the nonsense about Christians and science. I don't know any Christians who have a problem with science. Most of us don't believe in evolution but that is just one small part of the big realm of "science" and evolution is just a theory not a fact. I could see all the hubub if we were denying a fact but that isn't the case. Give me a break.

Is there any way people of "Faith" can make "Faith" a little less intimidating for the non believers?
Probably not!
Science can be understood. "Faith" on the other hand cannot be understood. That's why non-believers fear "Faith"!
There are no regulations on "Faith"........
Question from a non-Christian......................
Quantum Physics hasn't explained "Faith" as of yet.......
And I'm a truthful retired Physicist.........

Why do you think science is intimidating? It really backs up what I believe. The Bible is scientifically accurate. Sometimes it just takes science a little while to catch up with the Bible but it's getting there.
